YES, YOU

two for tea | the both and | shorts and longs | julie rybarczykThe other day, while out for coffee (ok, tea) with one friend, I ran into another. Turns out we all three know each other, we just didn’t all know it. I love when that happens.

Anyway, I mentioned some random fact about my life, and both girls looked a little sheepish for a minute, then both “admitted” that they already knew that—because they had read it here on the blog.

lol!

I love when that happens too.

Ok people, I know you’re out there. I know it because once in a while I hear from one of you that you’ve been “stalking” me on the blog. Secretly following my life. Unsure whether that’s ok, or appropriate, or a little weird and creepy.

I just want to say a couple things to you:

1. Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.

2. I’ve poured you a mug of something steamy. Will you join me?

3. If it helps, I’m not saying anything here that I wouldn’t say if we were sitting across from each other at the coffee shop.

4. Although, if we were sitting across from each other, I’d be doing a lot more listening and a lot less talking.

6. Plus I’d be looking you in the eyes and getting to enjoy your big heart, or your new hairstyle, or at least your latest stories.

7. So that does make this a little weird. A little lacking.

8. But I’m still glad you stopped by. I’m so honored to share any small piece of life with you.

9. Leave me a note sometime so I can hear how life is treating you.

10. And, I hope to see you soon. Out there in the real world.

Yea okay, I am a stalker! I look everyday and really hate it when you don’t write however these are the things that have happened as a result of my stalking. I cleaned my oven, I hung an old picture (which then became new) I went to second hand rose and cherished my time with my friend(more than I maybe would have) I bought a scarf and have renewed my passion for old new things. So I guess you have to live with all of the things that have happened as a result of my peeking into your life. You truly are an inspiration to me and you are a gifted writer so, there you caught me! D:)

    Guilty!

Ever since the little get together for Heather’s birthday, I’ve been following you girls around, in an internet sort of way. I love hearing your thoughts and dreams – it’s great reading material!

…The only issue is that I’m not witty at all. I have nothing fun to comment on as of yet. But no worries. Somewhere, sometime soon, I will come up with an awesome comment or thought. And the whole world will know. Right here on the blog :)

These comments are the best! You guys crack me up. Diane, seriously. You go girl. I am inspired just listening to everything you got done. You cleaned your oven?! What trick worked for you?? The boiling water that Em suggested finally helped me make a least a little progress. Do tell! I love the mutual inspiration and motivation happening!!

As for the rest of you stalkers, welcome out of the closet. lol. Now we’re all in this together. And I know every single one of you has great stuff to add (even witty stuff, Kristin!), so don’t be shy now. :)

I used the self cleaning mode. I was afraid because I read about a parrot that died from the fumes but I thought if Heather can do it so can I. Just opened the windows and turned it on. Nobody dead and oven clean. You must know that was during my lip ordeal so I had nothing better to do. First time I have ever cleaned an oven 26 years of marriage so…..It truly sparkled I kept opening the door to look at it.

Yep! Guilty and proud of it! I love reading your blog! You remind me to embrace the good, the bad, and the ugly! Your conversations are contagious and a bright spot in my day! I will continue to stalk….and talk!
